Giraffes

There are 4 species of giraffe: Northern giraffe, southern giraffe, reticulated giraffe, and Masai giraffe. There are also several subspecies.

Giraffes are the tallest mammals in the world. Their legs are 6 feet long. Their neck is also 6 feet long. Their necks aren’t long enough to reach the ground to drink so they have to crouch down awkwardly. Luckily, they only need to drink every few days as they get most of their water from their food.

Here is a video of giraffes drinking and fighting!
